Brief Bio:
Dr. Gale is the current LACPA Technology Chair, LACPA Assessment SIG Leader, and LACPA Business of Practice Co-Leader. His use of technology in practice dates back to his days as a research undergraduate, designing toys for dolphins at Sea World, and as a graduate student at FSU in the 1970s, where he designed toys for children with severe developmental disabilities. As Chief Psychologist at Cedars-Sinai, he developed an inpatient progress monitoring tool for the hospital, cutting staff documentation time in half. Since 1998, his company, BehaviorTech Solutions, Inc., has been developing apps for students in schools to support behavioral challenges and improve emotional regulation while tracking progress. He has also utilized computer animation and other technologies as part of his clinical work with individuals and groups, as well as during the assessment process. Currently, he is developing a practice management tool plus individual apps for clients with AI assistance.
Hope to see you at our next meeting.
