‘ High Conflict Mediation.’  Steven will examine the types of mediation that are most common today. He will also describe his mode of mediation, especially when dealing with narcissistic personalities.  One such technique is helping difficult clients hold in tandem opposing emotions and expectations.

We will also review what happens in the mediation process, and how to keep clients in mediation when they have strong disagreements.  

Steven Unruh has been licensed as a marriage and family therapist for 37 years. 

His training in mediation comes through the City Attorney’s Office of Los Angeles.  Currently, he files in 16 counties throughout the state of California. 

Steven has two graduate degrees from Fuller School of Psychology and Fuller Seminary in Pasadena. 

He has three adult boys who are married and three grandchildren.  His favorite place on earth is Yosemite.
