Presenters: 

Daniel Franklin, PhD, BCET, is the author of Helping Your Child with Language-Based Learning Disabilities (2018).  He holds an M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from UCLA, and is a Board Certified Educational Therapist (BCET). Daniel has over 30 years of experience in education as an educational therapist, teacher, school administrator, and educational consultant. Daniel is the founder, president, and clinical director of Franklin Educational Services, Inc. 

Rachel Galant, Pharm.D., M.A., is a Child Development Specialist and a DIR Floortime-certified relationship-based play therapist and the founder of Developmental Bridges. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master’s in Infant and Child Development with an emphasis on mental health and developmental delays. She is currently completing her dissertation to fulfill her Ph.D. Rachel works with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with other developmental delays and mental health challenges. She has contributed to the MTA and Preschool ADHD studies and led the Prop 10 clinic at UCI. Rachel specializes in developmental therapy through a whole-child lens and values interdisciplinary collaboration.
