To properly diagnose Gender Dysphoria, providers must be familiar with clinical implications to be able to differentiate between gender identity vs gender expression; body dysphoria vs gender dysphoria; dual diagnosis; and symptomatic overlay.  In this lecture, attendees will learn to perform proper diagnosis and treatment of individuals with Gender Dysphoria.

Natalia Zhikhareva, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist specializing in gender issues and transgender care and has worked with gender diverse individuals for over a decade. She has been featured as a speaker on current transgender issues at the Empowered Trans Woman Summit, developed the Comprehensive Overview of Transgender Experience course and writes weekly on issues related to gender.
