The Los Angeles County Psychological Association’s (LACPA) first Student Leadership Committee (SLC) 2024 event is coming up on Saturday, April 27th! This year, we invited 3 excellent speakers to share their experiences with the internship application process and considerations for applications (e.g., required direct hours for certain internship tracks) with the doctoral students in their years 1 to 3 of training. The workshop will also cover how to make ourselves stronger candidates for different internship tracks (e.g., VA, neuropsychology, school setting, etc.) and application resources that students should begin to explore earlier in the process. Students will have a chance to ask the internship training director and previous internship applicants questions about early internship preparation.
