Title: Building and Running a Sport Psychology Consultation Center - Trials and Triumphs

Dr. Mauldin graduated with her Ph.D. in psychology from Miami University. She specializes in the cognitive neuroscience of learning and memory and sport, performance, and exercise psychology. She is an assistant professor of psychology and serves as the director of the M.S. Sport and Performance Psychology program in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at California Baptist University (CBU) as well as the director of the Center for Sport and Performance at CBU. Dr. Mauldin typically teaches courses in statistics, human memory, sport psychology, and cognitive psychology. Dr. Mauldin’s research has led to multiple publications in scientific journals. In addition, she serves on the Cornerstone Committee for APA Division 47. Dr. Mauldin’s research interests are in the cognitive neuroscience of flow and the psychological benefits of exercise. 

 

Dr. Lerner has taught courses in the exercise sciences (i.e., exercise physiology, motor learning and development, and psychology aspects of injury), and statistics as well as counseling related courses (i.e., counseling skills, life-span development, and substance abuse).  He is the co-author of the book Training Professionals in the Practice of Sport Psychology.
