LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST F/T; P/T

ManagedMed, Inc. is a multi-specialty clinic in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles. On board are two licensed psychologists and four psychological associates. Also we have two nurse practitioners (one of them is a psychiatric nurse practitioner), a neurologist and an internist. The clinic specializes in industrially injured workers. Training will be provided to the uninitiated, as the workers' compensation system is a complex, forensic one. There will be an opportunity for the practitioner to become a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) which enables the practitioner to participate in the AME/QME (Agreed Medical Evaluation/Qualified Medical Evaluation) process. These evaluations have special status within the workers' compensation system. The ideal candidate will be expected to evaluate and treat injured workers. They will be expected to generate reports which have probative value. They can be expected to see patients individually and in group (i.e., disability support groups, PTSD groups and pain management ones). Clinical work is done almost exclusively on a teletherapy basis; groups are done on Zoom. There is limited opportunity to have some hybrid work. The marked preference is to be at the clinic interacting with other professionals and staff. Salary is to $115,000 a year plus bonuses and benefits; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. ManagedMed, Inc. has been in business since 1996. A license in psychology is required. All necessary training will be provided. Send  CV to Seth Hirsch, Ph.D. to [email protected]
