Summary Description:
Dr. Julie Goalwin is searching for a Clinical Psychologist Assistant for a busy successful caring Psychologist office. The office takes in Personal Injuries, Workers’ Comp and Private Patients.

Duties include:   
Possible report writing (reports will be paid when done)
One on One sessions
Group sessions is a possibility (should the candidate meet the criteria).
Personal Injury report, Clinical reports.
Medical Legal evaluations. Knowledge is a plus in Workers’ Comp Law as well as language of the law.
Willing to keep current with the Workers’ Comp Law.
Training will be provided at clinician’s convenience.

Adjunct Professor of Psychology--Pepperdine University seeks a Ph.D., Psy.D., or doctoral candidate to teach one or more undergraduate courses including: Foundations of PsychologyResearch Methods in Psychology, and Intermediate Statistics.

Courses are in person on the Malibu campus and can be scheduled at the instructor’s convenience, subject to classroom availability and scheduling guidelines. Sections have 10-30 students. The salary for a single course will be up to $7500, depending on degree and teaching experience.

This Licensed Psychotherapist II position is focused on completing intakes to ensure timely access to services for children and adolescents with a variety of mental health and/or pediatric medical conditions. These Specialty Mental Health Services are funded by CHLA contracted Medi-Cal services through LA County Department of Mental Health.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of Post-Masters experience in a child, adolescent or family mental health setting. 

Experience with services for children with developmental disabilities is desirable. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: MA/MS Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy. Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist. AHA BLS certification required.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Psychotherapist II to work in the UCEDD Project Heal Trauma Program to serve as the provider of outpatient mental health services to children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic events, such as abuse, neglect, accidents, medical trauma, exposure to community violence and immigration trauma. Many of our clients have complex presentations complicated by intergenerational trauma, homelessness, foster care, adoption or developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate would be responsible for assessment, treatment planning and providing psychotherapy to a defined caseload of patients and their families, while collaborating with interdisciplinary professionals (teachers, psychiatrists, social workers, pediatricians, attorneys, etc.) as may be needed to best meet the mental health needs of the patients and families served. There may be opportunities to participate in some of our specialty services and clinics, such as facilitating support groups, completing MAT assessments, training in PCIT clinic, participating in our Foster Care Hub, or collaborating with the La Linterna immigration clinic.
