This will be a case consultation meeting with Kristen Mackel, LCSW.

For over 15 years Kristen Mackel, LCSW, LICSW has been providing clinical mental health services in both traditional outpatient and Intensive Outpatient settings to Elite Athletes and other High Performance individuals.

Kristen currently serves as the a Director of Mental Health and Counseling for Student Athletes at the University of Pittsburgh and is listed on the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Mental Health Registry as a preferred provider. Within her private practice, The Center for Grit and Growth, she works with members of the NCAA, NFL, MLB, Olympic athletes, and other high performing individuals.

Kristen specializes in the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) to treat OCD, mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders and trauma. I have received extensive training in these areas through Behavioral Tech, The IOCDF Behavior Therapy Training Institute, The Beck Institute, The Center for Deployment Psychology, The Center for Evidence Based Treatment, and The Center for Stress and Anxiety. She is currently licensed in the states of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.
