Abstract:
Eating Disorders are on the rise. Identification and early treatment for eating disorders is imperative. Disordered eating patterns often lead to the development of eating disorders or subclinical presentations. Family Based Treatment is the gold standard for the treatment of anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders. This presentation will provide an understanding of Family Based Treatment in treating anorexia nervosa from a clinician, parent, and nutritionist perspective.
