Winter Presidential Column
Jaz Robbins, Psy.D., BCHN

Hello, LACPA Family! I am equal parts humbled and excited to be writing to you in this way. Some of you may have heard or seen my name somewhere in the past, some of you know me personally, and some may have never heard my name before. I am writing to extend a warm and hearty hello to you all.

I am Jaz Robbins, and I am the 2026 President of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association (LACPA). I am proud to say that I have been a leader in our organization since 2018, and I hope my path and trajectory inspires others. I joined LACPA in 2018 and immediately became a Campus Representative and a CE Monitor. I held both positions for two years before joining the LACPA Board as a member of the Student Leadership Committee (SLC) in 2020. It was also in 2020 that I joined LACPA’s Ethics Committee. I remained on the Board via the SLC for two years, and co-chaired the Convention Committee in 2022. Since 2023, I have continued to be an active member of both the Convention Committee and the Ethics Committee.
